New Delhi: Today is the 79th day of the peasant movement against agricultural laws brought by the central government. But no solution has been found so far to the ongoing deadlock over agricultural laws. The agitating farmers have once again announced to intensify their movement. Farmers have announced to make toll plazas free in Rajasthan today.

Today, all road toll plazas in Rajasthan will be made toll free by the United Farmers Front. On February 14, there is a candle march and torch march procession of farmers. Farmers have announced a 'rail roko' campaign across the country on 18 February. Farmer leader Darshan Pal Singh said that we will ask the BJP and JJP MLAs involved in the Haryana government to either support our movement or leave the government. He said that with this we have asked the people of Rajasthan to open all toll plazas.

Farmer leaders said that they accept nothing less than the withdrawal of the law. Farmers' organizations said that the government's current proposal to keep the new agricultural laws suspended for one to one and a half years is not acceptable to them. Giving an ultimatum, Rakesh Tikait, leader of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), said that by October 2, the government should repeal the agricultural laws in any condition. The government said that it is ready to amend it, but the agricultural law will not be returned.
