New Delhi: Seven months have passed since farmers demonstrated on Delhi's borders against the agriculture law brought by the Centre. Meanwhile, an incident of assault between farmers and BJP workers has come to light at UP Gate Ghazipur border in the morning. It has reported sabotage of vehicles and injuries to some people. According to reports, around 10 am, some BJP workers were present near the venue to welcome party leader Amit Valmiki, who was being welcomed with drums.

Meanwhile, farmers also started showing black flags objecting to this. Soon, the two groups started hitting each other. We were welcoming our leader and Tikait came with his colleagues, with iron poles and sticks in his hands, a BJP worker said. They started ransacking and assaulting the vehicles. They have vandalized about 70 to 80 vehicles. BJP's Ranita Singh Mahanagar Vice President said, "We stood peacefully to welcome party leader Amit Valmiki Ji. At the same time, Tikait's supporters brought weapons and assaulted our sisters, injuring many women.''

On the other hand, farmers alleged that some BJP workers were shouting slogans against the farmers when they were beaten up at the venue. It is also being said by the farmers that BJP workers were abusing. When the farmers expressed their displeasure, they started pelting stones. After which this clash took place.
