In Ghaziabad's Shaidpur village of the district, a 45-year-old farmer was shot dead by unidentified persons, as per stated by police.
SSP H N Singh as per the sources new said 'Maharaj Singh was sleeping outside his house last night when some car-borne assailants opened fire on him and fled from the spot.'
He said the farmer died on the spot and prime facie the incident is a fallout of personal enmity as he had a quarrel with a youth of his village three days ago.
