New Delhi: It has been 11 months since the farmers' agitation on the border of the national capital, Delhi, but clashes between the government and farmer leaders are still continuing. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, who is demanding withdrawal of the new three agricultural laws brought by the Central Government, has made it clear that if the Government is dogmatic, the farmer will also not back down from their demands.

It may be recalled that the United Kisan Morcha has been agitating on the borders of Delhi for the last 11 months. Talking about the agitation, the National Spokesperson of Bharatiya Kisan Union Rakesh Tikait said, "Unless the government talks, will not find a solution, the agitation will continue.'' Talking about the farmers sitting on the streets, Tikait said that the farmers' crops have been destroyed but there has been no cooperation from the government. The farmers are being adversely affected by the unseasonal rains.

Talking about ending the agitation, Rakesh Tikait said, "We are waiting for the government to negotiate. Let the Government talk, let us also go to our house. If the Government does not talk, it does not find a solution to the agitation, we will not back down. They will revamp their arrangements for the agitation in winter.'' Rakesh Tikait further said that if the Agriculture Bill is not returned, we will go all over the country and agitate. About 11 rounds of talks have been held between the Government and the farmers, but no solution has been found so far.
