The farmers went on strike. The 1st day of the 10 days of strike saw agitation of farmers in states like Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Punjab. The farmers expressed their anger. This leads to the spike in prices of milk, vegetable and other crops. This strike will continue from 1st of June to 10th June 2018.

This agitation is called by Kisan Mazdoor Mahasang (KMM). cultivators named this agitation ‘Gaon Bandh’. Shivkumar Sharma the convenor of the agitation asked the cultivators to not come to the market of urban areas to sell milk and vegetable. The farmers are not forced to take part in the agitation said members ok KMM. They have so much anger against the central government. They are supporting the protest by their own.

In Rajasthan, protestors spilled milk on the roads. In Madhya Pradesh, the strike went peacefully. The vegetable supply suffered by 30%.In Punjab, the members of KMM went to the market and told the vendors to not bring vegetables, milk and other fodders to the market till 10 June. The KMM told that they are getting a good response from other fellow farmers. The government and the police have keen observation over the protest to avoid any mishappening.

Let's hope for the best that this protest goes on peacefully and it should not take any violent turn as before.
