New Delhi: The Modi government at the Centre has announced the withdrawal of all three agricultural laws. But despite this, the farmers' agitation continues. Now farmers have decided to take out a tractor march to the Mahapanchayat in Lucknow on November 22 and Parliament on November 29. Protesting farmers say the agitation will continue until the laws are withdrawn in Parliament.
PM Narendra Modi had on Friday announced the withdrawal of agricultural laws, shocking everyone. The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) has held a meeting on Saturday. It was attended by leaders of all organizations. Farmer leader Dr Darshan Pal has said that till then the process of repealing the three agricultural laws in Parliament is not completed and there is no written guarantee at minimum support price (MSP), the agitation will continue.
Darshan Pal said that the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) will celebrate the completion of one year of farmer's movement across the country on 22nd November, Mahapanchayat in Lucknow on 22nd November, 26th and tractor march will also be taken out till Parliament on 29th November. He said that there are 6 issues including our agricultural laws, MSP, arrest of farmers, cases registered against them, hopefully, the government will convene a meeting soon to discuss these issues.
