New Delhi: Farmers' organizations are scheduled to hold an important meeting today with the Delhi Police on the proposed tractor parade of farmers on the occasion of Republic Day, which will chalk out a strategy for the parade. Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi Police will set these routes with mutual cooperation so that the parade can be held peacefully. After the meeting of the police officers, the farmers can announce it at about 3 o'clock.
Indian Farmers Union (Bhakiu) National spokesperson Rakesh Tikait has said that a meeting will be held with the police today on the parade of farmers on Republic Day in which a decision will be taken on the parade routes. Delhi is very big and the farmers will reach here from different places, which is why different avenues are being constructed for this parade. Within Delhi, 3 routes will be constructed which will be 30 to 40 km.
It will be scheduled by about 2:00 p.m. today, after which we will announce it. On which side the entry will be and on which side the evacuation will be determined by Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi police with mutual cooperation. It will also include our volunteers who will help the police. In fact, in a meeting of the police and farmers on Friday evening, a road map was placed before the farmers by the police, which was said on behalf of the farmers that we would discuss and respond to it.
