Salman Khan upcoming movie Bharat is creating quite buzz since its announcement. It is creating headlines due to various reasons and it is making headlines due to troubling farmers. Due to a shoot, the farmer’s life are getting affected.The crew of the film didn’t get permission to shoot at Amritsar’s Wagah Border. Thus, they decided to recreate the same in Ludhiana and for this, they had taken the land on lease from the farmers at Ballowal village of Ludhiana.
The makers of film had paid rent of Rs 80 Thousand per acre to the farmers for a total of 19 acres. However, as per the reports, the farmers in the nearby village, Jodha, were unable to access their fields due to the shooting work and thus were upset with the film makers.
Now as reported, the makers have denied any such disappointment on the part of the farmers. The director of the film, Ali Abbas Zafar told that nothing of this kind has happened. These are just some rumours that have been floating. Director further added that we have been shooting very peacefully here. The city and the people are supporting us and everyone is very happy. Such speculation is not to be trusted.
Bharat is based on a South Korean Film, Ode to My Father. The movie also stars Disha Patani as Salman Khan’s sister and trapeze artist along with Tabu and Sunil Grover. The movie is slated for release on June 5, 2019.
