Srinagar: National Conference (NC) National President and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday appealed to the people to get the vaccine at the earliest to protect them from the global epidemic corona virus. This was stated by Farooq Abdullah, Lok Sabha MP from Srinagar in a video posted by him on his social media handle.

He said, 'We are facing an epidemic called Covid-19, in his video. Hundreds of thousands of people have died because of this, but thankfully, we now have a vaccine that can protect us from this disease'. Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah, however, warned people to be vigilance in the war against Covid, saying anti-covid practices such as wearing masks, maintaining social distancing and hand hygiene should be followed to prevent the spread of infection.

"Through this video, I would like to appeal that please get myself, my family and friends vaccinated at the designated vaccination centres," said Farooq Abdullah in Kashmiri. I hope we are able to save lives and things will get better". Abdullah requested the people not to waste time and get vaccinated at the earliest.
