Abdullah's old statement after 7 murders in Kashmir going viral

Srinagar: It has been more than 2 years since Section 370 was revoked in Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorists were not able to carry out any untoward incident at that time due to tight security and extra strictness. All separatists and Kashmiri leaders who were in Pakistan had already been house arrested. But, now, the killings of Hindus and Sikhs have resumed in the Valley. Meanwhile, a statement by Farooq Abdullah is again in the news.  Farooq Abdullah's statement is currently in the news as 7 Hindus and Sikhs have been killed by terrorists in Kashmir in the last 5 days.

Farooq Abdullah, 84, is the head of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) and has also served as CM of Jammu and Kashmir. His father has even been the 'Prime Minister' of Jammu and Kashmir. His son Omar Abdullah had also been CM. In such a situation, the statement made by such a big leader should not be taken lightly. His statement, which is being remembered by the people back these days, is from April 2019, 4 months before article 370 was repealed.

In this statement, Abdullah had said, 'Do they think they will bring from outside, settle down and we will continue to sleep? We will face it. How do you abolish Section 370? I swear by Allah, Allah will not approve it. Let us be free from them. Do it, we see too.' Let's see who will be ready to raise their flag. Former Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti had also made a statement on the same side saying, "There will be no tricolour lifter left in Jammu and Kashmir after that.'
