New Delhi: National Conference leader and former Jammu and Kashmir CM Farooq Abdullah on Tuesday appealed to the government to reiterate the people of Jammu and Kashmir and listen to the protesting farmers, saying that Lord Ram is for all of us and if Allah and God is differentiated, the country will be broken. Taking part in the discussion on the motion of thanks at the address of President Ramnath Kovind in the Lok Sabha, Abdullah also said that it is not the right tradition for democracy to raise a finger on former Prime Ministers and earlier veteran leaders.

Abdullah said while facing the ruling party, "God and Allah are one. If they make a difference, the country will be broken. If you make a mistake, we will correct you and if we make a mistake, you will correct it. This is how the country operates." He further said, "Today you call us Pakistanis, Khalistani, Chinese. I live here I will die here. I am not afraid of anyone. I only have to answer the one above. ''

He further said, "Ram is for the whole world. If he is the Rama of the world, then we all are for  Rama. The Quran belongs to everyone, not just ours. The Bible belongs to everyone." Abdullah said to the ruling party, "We never considered you an enemy. Consider you their part. Now when you are in opposition, you will respect and do more than you. ''
