We all look up to people and idolise their work and contribution in different fields. Among many fields, fashion is one of the most popular and lucrative professions. However, many feel that succeeding in the fashion industry cannot happen without an external push. But, it is untrue. Hard work pays off, and perseverance has helped many fashion enthusiasts write their success stories. Sanaa Khan, a prolific fashion designer has made her mark in the industry on an international level. 

With her roots in Lucknow, she spent her childhood in Saudi Arabia. Much before Sanaa's foray into showbiz, she had a fair share of struggles in her life. The toughest phase in the designer's life was when she lost her father at an early age. "I had to face many challenges which I was not prepared for. But I had immense faith in the almighty's plan which redirected me to keep going and growing in life", she said. 

From an early age, Sanaa had a creative flair for fashion. To pursue her dreams, Sanaa Khan completed a course in fashion design at AIFT, Lucknow. Later, she moved to Mumbai for better work opportunities. However, sustaining in the city of dreams was a challenge for Sanaa. Luckily, Khan established good connections in the city because of her grandfather Late M. Haneef's goodwill. He was a sculptor and a professor at Lucknow University. 

More so, he was one of the best artists in India who created statues of great leaders and prominent personalities of the country. At the onset of her career, Sanaa Khan worked on small assignments with different fashion photographers, content creators and celebrities. Maintaining consistency and progression in her work, she got to work with well-established names from different fields like Sunny Leone, Prachi Desai, Sara Khan, Loren Gottlieb, Arya Babbar, Sourav Ganguly, Ajinkya Rahane, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar among other celebrities. 

In addition, the ace designer has collaborated with beauty pageant title holders like Pankhudi Gidwani and Zoya Afroz for different fashion shows. Starting her career in Mumbai, she explored different horizons in the fashion space where the designer hosted different clothing exhibitions in Dubai and Turkey. Having worked with Indian artists, designers and fashion houses, Sanaa always wanted to introduce cross-border cultural exchange and bring international fashion trends by infusing traditional and modern styles. 

Tapping the potential of work opportunities in the international markets, Sanaa worked for many celebrated fashion shows in Dubai and Turkey. And after the lockdown was lifted, the designer flew to Turkey to expand her clientele. Currently, the fashion designer has clients from India, Turkey and the UAE, and she is now looking forward to taking her work across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
