Fast and Furious 9 will be hitting the Indian screens on August 5. Directed by Justin Lin, the action-packed film sees Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges and Sung Kang reprise their roles. This time, Cardi B, Ozuna and John Cena have joined the cast of Fast and Furious 9. Just like the previous Fast and Furious films, this one also promises to be high on action.

Fast and Furious 9's new trailer was released in April this year. The first trailer, which was released in early 2020, revealed that John Cena is playing Vin Diesel's arch-enemy and brother. However, this new trailer shows the rivalry between the two. Universal Pictures has finally announced the release date of Fast and Furious 9 India. The high-octane film will officially release in India on August 5 in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.

The official synopsis of Fast and Furious 9 reads, "Vin Diesel's Dom Toretto is leading a quiet life off the grid with Letty and his son, little Brian, but they know that danger always lurks just over their peaceful horizon. This time, that threat will force Dom to confront the sins of his past if he's going to save those he loves the most. His crew joins together to stop a world-shattering plot led by the most skilled assassin and high-performance driver they've ever encountered: a man who also happens to be Dom's forsaken brother, Jakob (John Cena, the upcoming The Suicide Squad)."
