Fast-food chain invents Meal box that charges phones?

If there's one tech problem we face on a daily basis, it's running out of our smartphone battery all too soon. KFC seems to have recognised that your smartphone is as indispensible as getting a bite to eat.

Launched only in India, its all-new meal box offers fuel both for you and your phone. The tech-savvy Watt a Box comes with an inbuilt power bank and cables for charging your smartphone while you eat.

KFC says it launched the Watt a Box to "introduce an element of utility" to the 5-in-a Meal Box, which combines five popular dishes from KFC's Indian menu. The box comes with a detachable 6,100mAh Lithium-ion battery, a USB cable for Android phones and an Apple lightning cable for iPhones.
