New Delhi: Two main accused in the much-hyped Nikita Tomar murder case in the Faridabad district of Haryana, Tausif, and Rehan have been found guilty by the fast track court on Wednesday (March 24). The verdict will be given on Friday 26th March to punish the culprits. Azaruddin, who provided the weapons used in the carnage, has been acquitted.
In October last year, a 21-year-old student Nikita Tomar was shot dead by two people outside Agarwal College in Ballabhgarh, Faridabad. In fact, the accused Tausif tried to drag Nikita into the car, but when he failed, he shot her. In the viral video of the carnage, the other accused, Mohammad Rihan, can be seen dragging her back into the car. The entire incident was also imprisoned in CCTV, which later went viral on social media.
The girl's family had alleged that Nikita was pressurizing to change her religion. Three years ago, there was a decision before the Panchs in this regard, but Tausif tried to come back in contact with the girl. He repeatedly said to Nikita, 'Become a Muslim, we'll get married,' but when the girl did not listen to him, she was shot and killed.
