Rajsamand: Policemen in Mewar area of Rajasthan have shown a big heart by donating Rs 2 lakh 121 kanyadaan at the wedding of their late partner's daughters. His fellow head constable Mangilal Sargra was battling cancer.Mangilal's 2 daughters were married on Sunday. But fate had something else to approve of. 6 days before the marriage of the daughters, their father Mangilal lost the battle of life ahead of cancer. When the wedding took place on Sunday evening, his father's companions collected Rs 2 lakh 121 and donated kanyadaan. Seeing this, both the sisters could not hold back their tears.

According to reports, cancer-stricken head constable Mangilal Sargra was working at Kankaroli police station. His daughter Mamta and Kavita's marriage was scheduled on November 28. The whole family was busy preparing for weddings. But cancer victim Mangilal died 6 days before the marriage of his daughters. The atmosphere of happiness in the family turned into gum. Daughters Mamta and Kavita took turns at a simple ceremony in Desuri on November 28.

The Kankaroli police station staff was also stunned by the death of the first partner on the occasion of happiness. But he thought of returning the happiness of the victim's family while handling himself. Assistant Inspector of Police Jaswant Singh, Constable Dinesh Kumar, Arvind Kumar, Jeet Ram and Leeladevi of Kankaroli police station attended the wedding. He donated a kanyadaan worth Rs. 2 lakh 121. According to reports, Kankaroli police station in-charge Yogendra Vyas has said that Mangilal Sargra had been on leave since February due to oral cancer. The police station staff performed their duty by performing kanyadaan at their daughter's wedding.
