Mungeli: A man strangled his 9-year-old daughter to death in Chhattisgarh's Mungeli. Then, the body was stuffed in a sack and dumped. Police have arrested the criminal father from Kanpur in UP. After being caught, the criminal told that he was fed up with his daughter's illness, due to which he strangled her. The case is from the city Kotwali area. The police had found the body of the girl locked in a sack in a field in Jhagargatta village about 8 days ago.  

According to the news received, late in the evening of October 13, the shepherds returning with cattle found a plastic sack lying in a field in Jhagargatta village. He went closer and saw that the sack was tied from above. On this, the kotwar of the village was informed about it. When Kotwar reached the spot and touched the sack from outside, he suspected it to be someone's body. Then, he informed the police. The half-naked body of the girl was found inside the sack. After a lot of effort, the police identified the body.  

When the police started investigating, they came to know about Manoj Kurre. It also came to light that the body found was of Manoj's daughter. Both father and daughter disappeared on the same day. Meanwhile, the police found a picture of Manoj. When the police reached Kanpur looking for Manoj with his help, it was found that he drives a rickshaw and lived in a hut in Harihar Dham. The police reached there and waited for Manoj throughout the night. After that, at 7 am the next day, Manoj went to deposit the rickshaw and the police caught him. During interrogation, Manoj confessed to killing the girl. And the reason was the child's illness.
