Agra: Rupali Dixit, who is contesting the election from the Fatehabad seat of Agra, is the daughter of Bahubali Ashok Dixit. Ashok Dixit is serving a life sentence in jail. Rupali was in the Bharatiya Janata Party before joining the SP, but due to not getting a ticket in 2017, she joined the SP this time. In fact, when Rupali met SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav, she told the Samajwadi Party supremo that if she wins, how will she develop her area for the next 5 years. Rupali has done MBA from Cardiff University, England.

After meeting the Samajwadi Party supremo and telling the plan for 5 years after the victory, Akhilesh Yadav finalized Rupali's ticket. Rupali says that I got only 3 minutes to meet Akhilesh Yadav. I told him why should he give me a ticket. After winning my election, what work can I do in the area he gave me an opportunity by cutting the ticket of the already announced candidate.

Let us tell you that Rupali has also got a job in many big companies. She entered politics in 2016 and joined BJP in 2017. Being the daughter of Ashok Dixit, Rupali had to face a lot of opposition when she joined the BJP. In  2017 she asked for a ticket from Bharatiya Janata Party but did not get ticket due to which Rupali could not contest the election. This time the Samajwadi Party has fielded Rupali after cutting the ticket of the candidate declared earlier. Rupali Dixit says that if women come forward in politics, then perhaps the path of development of women will be easy in that situation.
