According to information received in the case, the father of two children tried to molest and rape a minor girl in Laltara area under Kheri police station. According to reports, the family later took the accused hostage in the house and the angry villagers rallied.

When the police came to know about the case, she rushed to the spot and wanted to take the accused into custody, but the villagers did not believe it and the accused was washed away in the entire area.
According to reports, SP Crime Ashutosh Mishra said that a case has been registered against the accused at the concerned police station on the basis of the Tahrir of the family. The accused has been arrested and taken into custody by the police and the minor girl has been sent for medical treatment, police said. Proceedings in the case will be initiated as soon as the medical report is received.
