Firozabad: In Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, miscreants shot and killed the father of the rape victim. The miscreants were pressurizing the person to withdraw the rape case, but he refused to do so. The SSP said that an outpost in-charge, besides the police station North and Shikohabad inspector, have been suspended for negligence in the case. Has started the search for the accused.

The accused, resident of Shikohabad from the deceased's 20-year-old daughter, was imprisoned about 6 months ago. The victim and her father had filed a rape case against the accused. It is alleged that the police did not arrest the accused even after the registration of the case. The accused came the day threatening the victim's family to withdraw the case. Refusing to take back the complaint, the accused shot the rape victim's father and killed him.

Family members say that the police would have arrested the accused and saved the life of the victim's father. SSP Sachinder Kumar Patel has said that an outpost in-charge, besides SHO Uttar and Shikohabad inspector have been suspended for negligence in the case. A case has been registered in this regard. The accused is being searched.
