Bharatpur: In a shameful incident, police have arrested a 50-year-old man who is accused of raping a 5-year-old minor girl in his vehicle. According to the report, the culprit had fled after the rape.

The incident took place in a village under the Udyog Nagar police station area where Annakoot Prasadi was held last Tuesday afternoon. People from the village and children also participated in Annakoot Prasadi. The victim and her brother were also returning to the village after attending Annakoot Prasadi in the village car. During this, the driver of the vehicle put the 5-year-old minor girl on his lap and later raped her. Seeing the condition of the child, her brother also started crying. When the two siblings reached home crying in a pool of blood, the girl's brother told the whole incident to the family.

On seeing the girl lying in a pool of blood, the family approached the police and lodged a complaint against the culprit. Later, the police conducted a medical examination of the victim and recorded her statement. The police arrested the culprit on the complaint of the victim's family. According to the information, the 50-year-old criminal who raped the child is also the father of two daughters who are about to get married. Even after this, he carried out this heinous act. Udyog Nagar police station in-charge Mahendra Rathi said a complaint of rape of the five-year-old girl was lodged, following which the accused was arrested and produced in court.
