Frankfurt Motor Show is being organized in Germany, where automobile companies around the world are presenting their latest designs. Under this, luxury car maker BMW has also displayed 6 Series Gran Turismo.

The car displayed by the company will be available in two options. GT 6 series GT will be made available in petrol with 2.0 liter 4 cylinders and 3.0-liter engine option. All the engines are equipped with 8-speed automatic gearbox.

At the moment, there is no information available regarding the price. Its design has been built on Light Wet Cluster Architecture, due to which its weight will be 150 kilograms less as compared to the existing model. Its length, width, and height have been increased from the existing model to 155 mm, 34 mm and 59 mm respectively.

Its wheelbase is also kept 95 mm larger. The car's specialty is its adaptive headlights, which makes it look more amazing. In the rear, the boot space has been kept up to 610 liters.

The 10.25-inch touchscreen has been installed in the new 6-series Entertainment System, which supports the wireless Apple Carple. Keeping the facility in mind, standard air suspension has been provided with self-leveling and concert plus drive mode in GT. This will help in providing a smooth ride experience.

6 Series GT has been given special attention along with a SafeChip. All seats have been provided with airbags, ABS and transmission control system, which supports active-passive driver support. Another special thing is that the Lane Departure alerts which will warn the driver if he goes out of his lane.

The car also has an active round-the-break detection feature. The 6 Series GT will also be shown at the auto expo in Delhi next year.
