The police said that 47-year-old Sanat Sonwani's father, Ramdas Sonwani Khaira Tulsi, is a resident of Thana Kunda, District Kawardha. He has been posted as a teacher in Devbhog block since 2013. He lived with his wife in a rented house in the Rajapara locality. The deceased teacher was posted at Girsul High School. Late on Monday night, his tenant and wife took Sanat to the Devbhog Community Health Centre in an unconscious state. Due to this, the doctor declared Sanat Sonwani dead after examining him. Seeing injury marks on the neck and thigh, the hospital management informed the police. Then the police arrested the woman.
