Gariaband: A shocking incident is coming to light from Gariaband in Chhattisgarh, where a woman has killed her teacher husband by strangling him with a rolling pin. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the dead body into custody, and started investigating the matter by sending it for a postmortem. The police have arrested the criminal's wife.

It is being said that on Monday, the criminal had gone to school drunk and slept there. His wife and neighbours picked him up and brought him home. After regaining consciousness, he started arguing and fighting with his wife. An angry woman killed her husband by strangling him with a rolling pin.

The police said that 47-year-old Sanat Sonwani's father, Ramdas Sonwani Khaira Tulsi, is a resident of Thana Kunda, District Kawardha. He has been posted as a teacher in Devbhog block since 2013. He lived with his wife in a rented house in the Rajapara locality. The deceased teacher was posted at Girsul High School. Late on Monday night, his tenant and wife took Sanat to the Devbhog Community Health Centre in an unconscious state. Due to this, the doctor declared Sanat Sonwani dead after examining him. Seeing injury marks on the neck and thigh, the hospital management informed the police. Then the police arrested the woman.
