Feroz Khan, a famous actor and maker-director of Bollywood films is remembered as a Bollywood personality who gave a special style to filmmaking. He was born on this day on 25th September 1939 in Bengaluru. He studied at Bishop Cotton Boys School and St. German Boys High School in Bengaluru and came to Mumbai and tried his luck in the world of acting.

In 1960, he got the opportunity to act for the first time in the film Didi. He was a co-artist in this movie. Thereafter, for the next five years, he got the role of a co-artist in most of the films. He appeared in the English language film 'Tarzan Goes to India' in 1962. He was accompanied by actress Simi Grewal in the lead role in the movie. If you look at the films produced by Feroz Khan, his films used to be of big budgets. He featured beautiful sets, beautiful folksongs, heartwarming music and great techniques.

As the same actor, Feroz Khan created a different and special style of his own contrary to the alien image of the Bollywood hero which was attractive and crackled. His cowboy image settled in the minds of fans forever. The year 1965 was very special for Feroz Khan's film career. He got an opportunity to work in Fani Majumdar's movie 'Oonche Log.' The film starred Several legendary stars including Ashok Kumar and Rajkumar along with Feroz Khan in the lead roles but Feroz with his stellar performances, managed to make a mark among the audience.
