Ferrari has launched the new limited-edition retro model - the Daytona SP3 - which draws inspiration from the famous 1960s sports prototype that helped the Marke brand earn its motorsport status. The Daytona SP3 was presented at the Mugello circuit as part of the 2021 Ferrari Final Mondiali, and Ferrari joins the carmaker's Icona series along with the Monza SP1 and SP2.

Ferrari The Daytona SP3 claims to be the car manufacturer's most aerodynamically efficient model ever made without any active aero bits. Its 'Targa' body type and removable hardtop are also inspired by the brand's sports prototype. The erotic surfaces of the model alternately with sharp lines have explained the importance of aerodynamics in the design of racers such as 330 P4, 350 Can-AM and 512 S.

The Daytona SP3 sports a naturally aspirated V12, the mid-rear-mounted engine that saves 840 CVs - making it the most powerful engine ever made by Ferrari - as well as a maximum raves of 697 Nm torque and 9500 RPM. The engine is connected to a seven-speed gearbox. The model can accelerate to 100 kmph (kph) in just 2.86 seconds while it needs only 7.4 seconds to accelerate to 200 kph.
