Ujjain: Two buses collided in MP's Ujjain city on Wednesday evening. The driver of the bus died and 22 passengers were injured. The police arrived at the spot after the incident. Police rushed the injured persons to the hospital with the help of people in the vicinity, where they are being treated.

According to the report received, Ujjain City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Divya Shukla said the accident took place at Bherukhera when two buses were on their way from Neemuch to Indore and Ujjain to Badnagar. At the same time, suddenly the buses collided uncontrollably. As soon as the collision took place, there was a scream among the people. Divya Shukla said that 45-year-old Subhash, the driver of the Badnagar-bound bus, lost his life in the accident.

According to Superintendent of Police Divya Shukla, there were around 50 passengers in both buses. Out of these 50 passengers, 22 passengers were injured in the accident. Police, who rushed to the spot after the information, rushed the injured to a hospital where they are undergoing treatment. The body of the driver was taken into custody and sent for post-mortem. The case is being investigated by the police.
