Kanpur: A dangerous fire broke out at AR Tower next to Hamraj Market in Basmandi in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. The fire took on a gigantic form in the late-night accident. Several fire tenders are engaged in controlling the fire on the spot. The tower has been burning for almost six hours. Five apartment complexes have been destroyed by fire in this accident. According to one estimate, more than 10 billion have been damaged. This is the biggest ready-made wholesale market in Uttar Pradesh. Efforts to extinguish the fire are still going on by the fire brigade personnel.

Kanpur's commissioner is present on the occasion. Help is also being sought from neighbouring districts. According to the police, there is a problem extinguishing the fire due to the wind. Air Force, Army, COD, and Ordinance vehicles have also reached the spot. The fire is likely to be brought under control soon. There are more than two dozen ready-made garment wholesale shops in AR Tower. It is being said that the fire started from a short circuit, which gradually spread to the entire building. The police say that a detailed investigation will be done into the cause of the fire.

More than 50 fire brigade vehicles from several districts, including Kanpur, Unnao, and Lucknow, are engaged in extinguishing the fire. The collector and police commissioner have contacted army officers. Army vehicles have also reached the spot to douse the fire. Kanpur Police Commissioner BP Jogdand, Joint Police Commissioner Anand Prakash Tiwari, and the Collector are present on the spot. Officers and vehicles of the Air Force, Army, COD, etc. have also reached the spot. Deputy Director of Fire Ajay Kumar Gupta, of Lucknow, has also reached the spot on information about the fire in the Bansmandi area. The hydraulic fire brigade has come with them.
