Indore: A fire broke out in a plastic factory on Sanwer Road in the Banganga area of Indore, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, on Wednesday morning. After information, teams of fire department were dispatched from four stations. The fire was brought under control by pouring more than 50 tanks of water. It is said that the waste plastic material is collected and recycled in the factory where the fire broke out. Toxic smoke spread several kilometres from the fire. Because of this, many people had to face breathing problems.

According to the fire department, at around 6:45 am, they received a call that a plastic factory in the Sanwer Road sector was on fire. After the information was received, the vehicles of Gandhi Hall, Moti Tabela, Laxmibai Station, and Saver Road Station were dispatched to the spot. The fire started in the plastic kept in the factory. Which took a terrible form. The entire factory was gutted in the fire. Where the fire personnel had to break the shed with the help of a JCB to proceed further.

It is said that the factory is belongs to the person named shyam. More plastic godowns are being built in this city. It has been reported that thousands of tonnes of waste from many companies, including Mylan, Vitaris, Cipla, Lupin, Dabur, and Sun Pharma, including hazardous drums and powdered foil, have been collected here unauthorizedly. The factory is also built in the green belt. At present, the reason for the fire is not clear.
