Tirunelveli: Once again the incident of mob lynching has come to light in Tamil Nadu. In Tirunelveli district of the state, a person who had gone to stop the fight was thrashed to death by some people. On Monday, a person named Kalaichelvan had gone to the petrol pump in Tirunelveli. Due to this, he saw that some people are misbehaving with the employees of the petrol pump. The persons alleged that the employees of the petrol pump are rigging in filling the petrol. Thereafter, Kalaichelvan came to the rescue between the people and the petrol pump employees. First there was an argument, then the people surrounded Kalaichelvan from all sides and started beating.
In the beating of the same mob, the condition of Kalaichelvan became deficient, after which he was hurriedly taken to the nearest hospital, where the doctors declared Kalaichelvan brought dead. This whole matter was caught in the CCTV camera installed at the petrol pump. As soon as the news of the case was received, the police reached the spot and identified the culprits after examining the CCTV footage.
The same criminals have been identified as Auto Kumar, Balasubramaniam, Sivaraman and Manisaraja. Based on the footage, the police have arrested Balasubramaniam, Auto Kumar, Sivaraman and search is on for Manisaraja. Police officers said, 3 criminals involved in the beating of Kalaichelvan have been arrested, search is on for one criminal. In search of a criminal is investigating at many places. Officials said that the police is also probing whether there was any old dispute between these people.
