Germany could not find the support of the net before South Korea's last-gasp double.

Defending Champions and Joachim Loew's Germany side kicked out of the FIFA World Cup 2018 after suffering a shocking 2-0 defeat by a stubborn South Korea on Wednesday that removed them in the opening round for the first time in 80 years.

 Earlier the event Germany would have progressed with a win at the Kazan Arena but only just looked able of scoring against the Koreans. On a related note defend the title they won in Brazil four years ago in 2014 WC.

In the final anxious minutes in front of 41,835 shocked fans, Kim Young-gwon and Son Heung-min finished off Germany side with two stoppage-time goals to criticize them to finishing bottom of the group on three points.

 Worth mention here The Germans have won four World Cups while it was runners-up four times. It entered this year's tournament which is being played in Russia heavily backed to keep hold of their title.

Instead, they will return to home after a barely believable letdown, having been not capable to defeat the South Koreans and after a shock 1-0 failure to Mexico in their opening group match.
