FIFA has taken a shacking decision. FIFA  put a new ban of six years and eight months upon Sepp Blatter from football and fined him a million Swiss francs ($1.07 million) by the body's Ethics Committee. Let us share here that Blatter was initially banned for six years in December 2015 over ethics breaches. But here the ban has been imposed for multiple breaches of FIFA's ethics code and comes into force when a current suspension ends in October, FIFA said. The same length of the suspension has been imposed on the organization’s former secretary-general Jérôme Valcke. Both men have been fined 1m Swiss francs (almost £780,000), Fifa said.

In a official statement FIFA officials said that "The investigations into Messrs Blatter and Valcke covered various charges, in particular concerning bonus payments in relation to FIFA competitions that were paid to top FIFA management officials, various amendments and extensions of employment contracts, as well as reimbursement by FIFA of private legal costs in the case of Mr. Valcke,". He further added into it "This is a painful and incomprehensible blow on the neck," Blatter said in comments released by his spokesperson. "The ethics committee in its current form has nothing to do with an independent body - it is much more the extended arm of the FIFA president and not much more than a 'parallel justice,".

However it is to be noted that Blatter was already banned and here ban is increased for another eight years. Valcke’s original ban was 12 years, cut to 10 on appeal. Both men have been fined one million Swiss francs (almost £780,000) over the latest breaches.
