Moscow [Russia], July 12 (NI): Croatia crushed England in Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium by 2-1 in extra-time to secure their first-ever FIFA World Cup 2018 final birth.

The hero of the match from winning side was prolific goalscorer Mario Mandzukic . He scored the goal in the second period of extra-time from .

 England footballer Kieran Trippier in the very first five minutes of the game gave the lead to his side with a wonderful free-kick which somehow opened an account for the match.

Meanwhile, Croatia scored first goal for their side. They were playing well but lacked the confidence.

Come what may, Mandzukic was fast enough to act in response to Ivan Perišic's header and shot past Jordan Pickford that made Croatia into their first-ever football World Cup final.

Within few minutes, the referee blew his whistle and England received into the break with a lead as Trippier's free-kick made clear path for their side.

Soon after the second half, Croatia with its continuous efforts scored one goal soon while England were happy so sit back and defend.

Perisic equalized the score with a wonderful header.
