It is being told that some anti-Hindu forces have played an important role in this incident. There are reports that the idol has also been broken in the battle. It is being told that some people tried to give it a form of dispute between Hindu and Muslim. Police say, "People of Balaganj area of Moghalpur have been worshipping Ganesh idol on government land for 20 years, although a person bought land near the mandap and got a house built two years ago."
