New Delhi: There was a clash between prisoners and policemen in Tihar Jail No. 4 of Delhi On Saturday. Many prisoners were badly injured in this quarrel. Tihar officials said on Sunday that it was a quarrel between the prisoners, in which two seriously injured prisoners have been sent to hospitals outside the jail for treatment. Other prisoners had minor injuries, which are being treated in the prison hospital itself. Jail officials have tightened the security of the jail after the incident.
On this matter, a senior official of Tihar told that, "The prisoners are kept in the barrack every day from 12 to 3 o'clock in the afternoon. On Saturday, a prisoner refused to go to the barrack, on the same advice he gave There was talk of provoking fellow inmates. After which they got scuffed with the police. On Saturday, around 12.30 pm, many prisoners got involved in the incident, due to which the quarrel had increased.
The jail officer said that, "2 prisoners were seriously injured in this quarrel. After this accident, they were referred to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for treatment. After treatment they have returned to Tihar. In the midst of this clash About 10 to 12 prisoners have suffered minor injuries. Security arrangements have been tightened after this incident. The prisoners involved in this quarrel are being closely monitored.
