FIITJEE unveils accelerator program for early-stage startups

NEW DELHI: Forum For Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination  (FIITJEE), a leading education institution in India, has launched the FIITJEE Accelerator Program, which will help founders build and scale enduring entities.

The programme will offer startsup with a structured mentoring programme and an opportunity to get funding. Some startups may also be advised to work on new challenges that offer huge value creation opportunities.

The programme is open to startups in the EdTech, HealthTech (with deep tech applications only), and Social Impact (with deep tech applications only) sectors.

All startups in these three industries are welcome to participate in the 90-day programme. Interested persons can submit their applications to the FIITJEE Accelerator beginning July 27 and ending August 26 at midnight. The programme has also been approved by Startup India and is hosted on their website.

Following the initial screening, qualified ventures will participate in an intense mentorship programme. Following the completion of the mentorship, these startups will submit their Business Plans to a distinguished jury on the 'Demo Day.' The enterprises will be reviewed and rated by the jury based on a variety of criteria. FIITJEE will invest in top-rated startups.

Among the mentors are D K Goel, Chairman of the FIITJEE Group, Partha Halder, MD of the FIITJEE eSchool, Udit Sawhney, CEO of myPAT.in, Byomkesh, AVP - Investment and Strategy, FIITJEE, and Alok Agrawal, Managing Partner of The Growth Labs.
