As per reports, the court has asked Karnataka Congress unit president DK Shivakumar to be accused of blowing up Rs 500 notes during the Praja Dhvani Yatra in Mandya. Let us tell you that on March 28, Shivakumar was seen blowing away 500-500 notes in Congress's 'Praja Dhvani Yatra' near Bevinahalli in Srirangapatna. After the incident, the Election Commission filed a complaint. On the basis of which a case was registered against DK Shivakumar. After that, on the instructions of the local court, the Mandya rural police registered a case against the state Congress president.
Let us inform you that, earlier on March 29, Shivkumar had told the Congress to be fully prepared for the assembly elections. Shivakumar had said, The Congress is ready for elections; we want this (BJP) government to be dismissed. The sooner this government is dismissed, the better for the state and the country. This election will be for a development-oriented and corruption-free state and country.
