In this case, a woman from Maninagar alleged that in order to hide the extramarital affair of the elder sister, the family members got her married to her brother-in-law's brother. Yes, and after finding out more details about this whole matter it came to light that elder sister got her younger sister married to her brother-in-law because she wanted to hide the extra marital affair with her husband's brother.

Yes, in this case the Abhayam helpline counselors told that, 'They got a call from a 23 year old woman who informed them that she was being harassed by her in-laws as well as her sister.' The counselors told that the woman told them that her sister was married 4 years ago. Wherein the complainant woman came to know soon after her marriage that her husband was having an affair with her elder sister. Both seem like sister-in-law and brother-in-law in the relationship. With this, the complainant woman told the Abhayam counselors that she gave full information about the matter to her sister's husband i.e. her brother-in-law, but he failed to take any action. After that he called on Abhayam helpline.

In this case further the woman told the counselor of Abhayam helpline that she had no relation with her husband even after marriage and later, the husband of the complainant and his sister accepted that the marriage was planned to ensure that It was that the relationship between the two should not be exposed and the matter should be kept hidden inside the house. At the same time, in this case, the family has assured the Abhayam counselors that the post-marriage relationship between sister-in-law and brother-in-law will end and the complainant woman will not face any further trouble.
