Finance Minister to launch statewide campaign to improve economy

Varanasi: The country's economy is now in a poor condition. The industries are slow and they are staring at the Government for some relief. The Government is on the opposition's target due to the weak state of the economy. So, the Government has now become aware of and working on measures to address it. In this connection, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will launch a campaign 'Campaign for Generation for Ideas and Consultation Till Branch Level' in UP.

She will also hold a review meeting with Income Tax, GST and Customs officials at the campaign points at Hotel Taj. Additional Income Tax Commissioner Abhay Thakur said, in the first phase of the two-phase programme, the Finance Minister will hold a meeting with Income Tax, GST and bank officials. This will be followed by a meeting with prominent entrepreneurs, businessmen, businessmen of Varanasi to discuss the economy and the campaign. He said preparations for the programme have been completed.

The Finance Minister will return to Delhi at 5.30 PM. Banks, income tax and GST have started formulating plans since the PM's call to strengthen the economy. There was also a meeting of branch managers in banks for the last two days. It reviewed the plans and fixed plans for the future. The Income Tax Department has also made preparations to deal with the challenges of the sector, ranging from action to tax payment. Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in the country in terms of population and hence becomes very important.
