New Delhi: The central government is continuously looking to deal with the economic slowdown in the country. The Finance Minister held a number of press conferences in the past in which major economic steps were announced. Along with this, the government is also meeting with various business organizations and industry people. In this episode, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a meeting with the heads of Public Undertakings (PSUs) to review the programs of capital expenditure.

For this, a campaign will be conducted in the first week of October. She has also asked government companies to start a new portal for payment related matters.
