New Delhi: During the discussion on the budget in the Lok Sabha, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has said that this budget is based on the experiences of Narendra Modi, who was in the post of CM in Gujarat. Then after 1991, the license quota raj was going away post, during that time many works were being done in Gujarat, based on the same experience, its reforms have been added to this budget.
During this, Nirmala Sitharaman attacked the Congress fiercely. She has also retaliated the statement of former Congress National President Rahul Gandhi with 'Hum Do Hamare Do'. Starting the discussion on the budget, Nirmala Sitharaman said that, 'This budget is based on policies. We opened up the economy and made many reforms. BJP continuously expressed confidence in the strength of India and the Indian business economy. It continues till Jan Sangh.'
Sitharaman said that we gave the respect which the Indian enterprise deserved. Nirmala said, 'In the budget speech I have said very clearly that we are taking a holistic approach to health. In the event of an epidemic, the government has done things like incentive reforms.
