New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is constantly targeting the Modi government these days. On Thursday, Rahul has attacked the Modi government for debt waiver of some industrialists. Now Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has reacted sharply to this. Sitharaman said that Congress wants to confuse the people of the country again and again.

Nirmala Sitharaman shared some of her old tweets related to debt waiver, recovery and other issues and said that if Rahul Gandhi has forgotten, then check it out. Sitharaman has attacked Rahul through a tweet made in April. The finance minister's old tweet also mentions the debt and recovery of Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi, Vijay Mallya. Rahul Gandhi wrote on Thursday, 'This year the loan of Rs 2378760000000 has been forgiven by the Modi government. With this amount, 11 crore families could be given 20-20 thousand rupees in the difficult time of Covid. The reality of Modi Ji's development!'

Recently Rahul Gandhi had said that PM Modi had promised to give 15 lakhs to each person's bank account and 2 crore jobs per year. Reminding of the ban on demonetisation, Rahul said that PM Modi had said that give me 50 days' time, I will make everything right, but nothing like this happened.
