New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday said that talks between India and the US on trade are going on at full speed. She has expressed hope that the result will be revealed soon. Negotiations are ongoing between Sitharaman and US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin at IMF headquarters. Mnuchin is also scheduled to visit India next month.

Sitharaman said, 'I have mentioned roughly business with Secretary Mnuchin. But on this, the Commerce Minister and Robert Lighthizer (US Trade Representative) are working together. According to my inputs, if the negotiations are going on at full speed and there is a possibility that the deal will be agreed between the two parties soon. ' Responding to a question, Sitharaman said that talks were to be held with the US.
