New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will hold press talks again at 11 am to give detailed information about the Rs 20 lakh crore package by PM Narendra Modi. The Finance Minister has so far announced four installments of this package. Relaxation in lockdown-4, CM Yogi gives hints
Nirmala Sitharaman had announced reforms in the fields of coal, minerals, defense production, social infrastructure, aviation, power distribution, space and nuclear power. The final phase of this economic package will be announced at 11 am today. In the last three days, the government has announced a package of Rs 10.73 lakh crore in three installments. Earlier releasing the fourth installment of the economic package, Nirmala Sitharaman said that the purchase of restricted products for import can only be done within the country.
Lockdown-4: Will work start or not? Government will issue guidelines today
Sitharaman further said that domestic production of some imported components will be started now. He said that this would help in reducing defense import expenditure. He said that the Ordnance Factory Board would be made a company for better management. It will later be listed on the stock markets.
