Paris: The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has lashed out at Pakistan for spreading terror. 39 FATF members have said that Pakistan should work on 13 action plans against terror by June 2020. Pakistan should take action against the heads of terrorist groups and get them punished. With this, whether or not Pakistan will remain in the gray list of FATF, a decision will be taken today.

This time Pakistan has become completely isolated in the FATF meeting. No country supported the terrorist policy of Pakistan. Only one country, Turkey, supported Pakistan, but not one. The FATF warned Pakistan against not taking action against terror. Pakistan was earlier put on the gray list of the FATF in June 2018 and was granted until October 2019 to work on an action plan, which if not completed, was blacklisted with Iran and North Korea. Subsequently, in October 2019, the FATF had decided to keep Pakistan in the gray list till February, ordering the implementation of the 27-point action plan. After this, in January this year, FATF met again in Beijing, China, in which Pakistan gave a list to implement the action plan.
