The price of one litre of petrol in the national capital Delhi is Rs 103.97 and diesel is Rs 86.67. It may be noted that the Central Government had reduced excise duty on petrol and diesel by Rs 5 and Rs 10 while providing relief to the people on Deepawali. Thereafter, various states, including Uttar Pradesh-Bihar, reduced VAT.
