Delhi Police registered an FIR against famous tennis star Maria Sharapova. This FIR has been registered at the Subhash Place Police Station in Delhi on the order of the court. In the case of fraud and criminal conspiracy, the case has been registered after Maria's name came.

Indeed, Agarwal, a resident of Gurugram (Gurgaon), is accused of being a Homestead Infrastructure Development Pvt. In the Sector 73, in lieu of a flat in Balayet Bai Sharapova, in the Residential Project, he had deposited 53 lakhs in the year 2013.

On behalf of the builder it was said that Sharapova himself will run the Tennis Academy, the builder company claimed that the project will be completed in three years to deposit the first installment, but it did not happen. After this, the emotion hit the court door and after the court order, Delhi Police registered FIR against the company officials and Sharapova.  Maria Sharapova campaigned for the company and many people booked the house only so that she could take coaching from Sharapova. The company did not fulfill its promise, so the buyers were forced to go to court.

"Sharapova not only aggressively promoted the fraudulent activities of the accused, but also supported the project in the eyes of the general public and is, therefore, a part of this criminal conspiracy," the complainant said.

"If the alleged persons have no licence or sanction to raise the residential flats in the name of 'Ace by Sharapova', Sector 73, Gurgaon, and accepted Rs 53 lakh to book a flat of unit area of 2,500 sqft, then they have undoubtedly committed criminal offence," the court said
