Patna: The dates for Bihar assembly elections have been announced. Polling will begin in Bihar from October 28. Political parties have intensified their campaign. Some rules have been laid down between the elections in the Corona period, but the case of its unneeded and code of conduct violation has come to light.  The latest case has come from Patna airport police station.

An FIR has been lodged against 7 leaders, including Bihar Congress State Unit President Madan Mohan Jha. They are accused of violating section 144 of IPC and breaking the Corona Protocol by gathering as crowds outside the airport premises. An FIR has been lodged at the airport police station by Special Executive Magistrate Mohammad Safiullah Khan of Patna. Action has been taken against 7 persons under section 188, 269, 270 of IPC and Epidemic Act-2897 under the Disaster Management Act 2005.

State Congress President Madan Mohan Jha, Lok Sabha MP Akhilesh Singh, Avinash Pande (Chairman Screening Committee Congress) Ajay Kapoor (Bihar State-in-charge Secretary), Screening Committee members Devendra Yadav, Mohammad Nizamuddin and Deepak Negi are among the congress leaders who have registered the FIR.
