Lucknow: For making indecent remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, an FIR has been lodged against Alka Lamba who leave the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to join Congress. This FIR has been lodged on Alka Lamba on behalf of Uttar Pradesh State Child Rights Protection Commission member Preeti Verma at Hazratganj police station in Lucknow.

Preity Verma filed a complaint alleging that Alka Lamba uploaded a video on her Twitter and used derogatory words for PM Modi and CM Yogi. In a second tweet, she also questioned the High Court judge with misleading allegations, which is under contempt of court.

The UP police has registered a case under Section 504, 505 (1) (b), 502 (2) and 67 against Alka Lamba. This #arrestalkalamba has been trending on social media since the FIR was registered. Many people and Congress have also come out in support of Alka and have opened a front against BJP and Modi government on social media. The tweet is being warped on the social media by supporters of both the Congress-BJP party.
