Lucknow: An FIR has been registered against Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav at Gautampalli police station in Lucknow. According to the information received, Akhilesh Yadav has been accused of violating Section 144 and obstructing government work. Let us also tell all of you that Akhilesh Yadav sat on strike outside his residence on October 4 after eight people including four farmers were killed in Lakhimpur violence. He was then taken into custody by the police. In fact, apart from Akhilesh Yadav, an FIR has also been registered in the name of Amit alias Master for blowing up a police jeep in front of Gautampalli police station.

Police are now said to be deploying police to nab Amit. You must be aware that a total of eight people were killed in the violence that took place on 3rd October at Tikunia in Lakhimpur Kheri. Four farmers were also on the list. Thereafter, there was a lot of uproar over the matter. After Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Akhilesh Yadav wanted to visit Lakhimpur Kheri on October 4 to meet the family of the deceased farmers but the district administration did not allow him.

Even after the administration refused, Akhilesh Yadav along with hundreds of his supporters insisted on going to Lakhimpur Kheri. He then left for his residence on October 4, but when the police stopped him, he sat on a strike on the beach road. Meanwhile, hundreds of SP workers reached there and all remained together. Not only that, but a police jeep was also set on fire. Police have now lodged an FIR against Akhilesh Yadav in the same case.
