New Delhi: The fire broke out on Saturday evening in the building. The fire was brought under control with the help of 42 fire tenders after a six-hour combing exercise. An FIR has been lodged in the Hauzkhas police station in connection with the case. The fire broke out in a teaching block near the emergency ward around 5 p.m. Saturday. The fire brigade was immediately informed. The fire brigade team immediately took over the work which brought the fire under control.

42 fire tenders were pressed into service to control the fire. The fire was brought under control, but suddenly the fire broke out again and reached the second floor. AIIMS is the largest government hospital in the country. Patients come here from all corners of the country for treatment. In such a situation, there is a huge possibility of unhappiness here. The country's Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, kept an eye on the situation.

In a statement issued by AIIMS, it said that the patients who were shifted to another ward due to the fire will be shifted back to their wards by this evening. The emergency ward at AIIMS was closed to avoid any threat.
